Program Coordinator Energy/Electricity

Consumer Rights Commission of Pakistan (CRCP) is a national research and advocacy organization engaged in the promotion of civil rights in Pakistan. CRCP requires services of program coordinator for managing and executing various long term and short term assignments in energy sector, electricity. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, tracking, reporting and information services; besides public outreach and data management in energy sector. The incumbent will be required to:

• Undertake policy research and produce research reports on energy, particularly electricity governance, management and financing.
• Develop liaison with regulators, distribution companies, policy makers and civil society organizations to meet program objectives and to ensure effective advocacy and outreach.
• Organize and conduct policy dialogues, seminars, training workshops and meetings for policy advocacy, awareness raising and capacity building.
• Prepare concept notes and proposals for new research and advocacy initiatives in energy/electricity sector.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or relevant advanced degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration or Social Sciences.
• At least 7 years program/project management experience with minimum 4 years of experiences in energy sector.

• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, etc.

Skills Required:

• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills to structure policy research.
• Excellent skills in written English especially report writing.
• Advocacy and communication skills.
• Expertise in project management tools and techniques.

Program Coordinator/ Research Fellow (Governance)

CRCP requires services of a Program Coordinator/ Research Fellow (Governance) for managing and executing various long term and short term assignments. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, tracking, reporting and information services; besides public outreach and data management in different areas of governance, particularly police reforms, transparency, access to justice and devolution. Major responsibilities are to:

• Undertake analytical research and produce research reports on governance related issues including police reforms, transparency, gender justice and human rights.
• Develop liaison with political parties, policy makers, relevant ministries, departments and civil society organizations to meet program objectives and to ensure effective advocacy and outreach.
• Organize and conduct policy dialogues, seminars, training workshops and meetings for policy advocacy, awareness raising and capacity building in the focus areas.
• Prepare concept notes and proposals for new research and advocacy work  in different areas of governance

Qualifications:
