Youth Internship Program
Youth Internship Program (YIP) is an initiative of Consumer Rights Commission of Pakistan (CRCP), which is dedicated to mainstream the unemployed youth in the development process, particularly those belonging to backward and conflict-affected areas. The underlying motivation is to impart basic skills and training to the youth, which helps them secure livelihood in the long term and access better opportunities of exposure to employment market in the development sector.
The Program is open to unemployed Pakistani nationals who are between the ages of 20 and 30 years. Initially, the minimum required qualification is graduation from a local government or private institution. Females are encouraged to apply. YIP internees are entitled to a monthly stipend and other benefits such as project-based travel expenses. Internships are offered for 3 months.
Keeping in view the interests and potential, the YIP internees work under supervision of our core team or relevant project staff. The supervisors give particular attention to provide necessary mentoring and handholding to the internee with a view to build skills, which shall help him/her in securing livelihood in the long term.
